Dragonchain Community Volunteer Recruitment
1. What is Dragonchain?
Dragonchain (ticker DRGN) is an open-source, decentralized blockchain forked from Bitcoin Core. It inherits Bitcoin’s battle-tested foundation while making key upgrades for fairness and future-proof security. It has three core features:
- Fair mining (yespower CPU algorithm): Dragonchain uses the yespower mining algorithm, which is naturally resistant to ASIC miners. Any ordinary computer or CPU can mine — no specialized mining rigs or farms required — truly returning to the principle of “anyone can mine, anyone can participate.”
- Post-quantum security (Falcon-512): Dragonchain introduces the Falcon-512 post-quantum signature scheme, preparing in advance for the quantum computing era so that assets remain secure into the future.
- Lightning-fast transfers (second-level confirmation): Dragonchain produces a block roughly every 5 seconds, so transactions confirm and arrive within seconds — no more waiting minutes or even over ten minutes like traditional blockchains. The experience is smooth and seamless, suitable for both everyday payments and high-frequency trading.
2. What stage is Dragonchain at, and what is its outlook?
Dragonchain is currently in the early mainnet and community-building stage. The latest version has reached v0.6.4.2, the code is open-sourced on GitHub, and the wallet, block explorer, and official website are all live.
What does this mean? — We are now in the window of the earliest dividends and the greatest opportunity. Early participants can mine extremely low-cost coins with ordinary computers, or get deeply involved in building the project from 0 to 1, becoming “co-builders” of the project’s growth rather than “bystanders.” As the ecosystem matures and the community expands, the returns and influence of early contributors will grow in tandem.
3. What volunteers are we recruiting?
Whether you are highly technical or not, experienced or not — as long as you have passion and commitment, there is a place for you:
3.1 Technical volunteers
- C++ core development: familiar with the Bitcoin Core codebase; participate in consensus layer, wallet, and node development
- Cryptography / post-quantum: familiar with Falcon-512, XMSS, Taproot; participate in signature and security modules
- Qt desktop development: participate in the development and optimization of the GUI wallet (Windows/macOS/Linux)
- Full-stack web: familiar with Next.js / Strapi; participate in the website and block explorer (Node.js + MongoDB)
- Operations / nodes: familiar with Linux, systemd, and P2P networking; participate in seed-node and full-node maintenance
- Testing / security auditing: participate in functional testing, code auditing, and vulnerability investigation
3.2 Operations talent
- Community management: maintain Telegram groups, community order, and atmosphere
- Content operations: write announcements, translate into multiple languages, organize materials
- Event planning: organize AMAs, community events, and incentive programs
3.3 Promotion talent
- Social media promotion: spread Dragonchain information across major platforms and expand influence
- Content creation: write articles, produce videos, and create high-quality content
- Business development: connect with exchanges, media, and partners
What do volunteers get?
- Early-miner token rewards: as an early contributor, you can receive DRGN token rewards and mine low-cost coins with your own computer
- A share in the project’s growth: grow together with the project and enjoy long-term value as the ecosystem flourishes
- Core identity and influence: volunteers who contribute deeply will become core community members, gaining recognition and a voice
- Technical and network accumulation: real blockchain project experience, open-source contribution records, and like-minded partners
